In this lifetime, I’m courageous, curious, and spontaneous. A creative who is still trying to understand her tools and mediums. I honestly just love to read, write, walk around, and try interesting things. Appreciating the simplicity of the daily while making my life as romantic as it can be. I am so new the the world of blogging and documenting, but as soon as I start making sentences, it just feels right. Each moment passes us by and even though I make an active effort to experience the present, cataloging all these amazing lived experiences is so important to me for me to look back on.
By day, I work in tech doing social impact work. I’m so grateful for that because my job is a lot of leading conversations and projects that fill equity gaps and connecting with others who have revolutionary ideas on how we can make our world better. I love that for me.
At all other hours, I’m on google flights, Expedia, and google maps looking for a new coffee shop or restaurant to try. Or blowing out my back in the gym.
In better words, I’m a lifestyle blogger, based in NYC but often in many different places.
Everyday I have moments of laughter, gratitude, or realization, and here is my space to keep digital souvenirs.
For the last few years, I was working on a memoir that explores the Dominican-American experience, and then I realized that writing a book is a lot of work. I love to write, so I landed here. I blossomed so much confidence and I don’t want to keep it to myself anymore. Love is to be shared, right? I write about daily life in NYC, food, skin, the existential crisis, and travel.
I’m a NYC native, born and raised. I grew up in Harlem, and now reside in East NY, Brooklyn. For someone who is outgoing and vocal, I realized I shy away from the camera a lot (can ya’ll relate because this is confusing…) so I promised myself I would stand in front of the camera more often.
This was so strange to me at first because I truly felt so uncomfortable posing and trying to visualize how the pictures would come out. Now, I go everywhere with my tripod and camera, and even book shoots. Like who am I? Me from 2 years ago wouldn’t even recognize me, but that’s the point.
I hope you enjoy reading and watching me evolve.
